Maywood, IL-Last night a 37 year-old patrol officer was shot to death while sitting in his marked K-9 vehicle. Officer Thomas Woods was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center before midnight. Officer Woods, leaves his wife and five children. The K-9 was uninjured in the shooting.
