Charlie Kirk was never just another conservative activist. He was the nightmare the Deep State could not shake.

He came out of the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, the kind of place the media pretends good patriots do not exist. Eagle Scout? Check. Brilliant debater? Check. Natural-born speaker who could outtalk and outthink their entire Ivy League echo chamber? Triple check.

Kirk dropped out of Harper College and had the audacity to call the whole scam what it is, a racket for indoctrination and debt. Love him or hate him, nobody with a functioning brain could deny he was smart. Smarter, in fact, than the overpaid bureaucrats who spent sleepless nights plotting how to shut him up.

Like me, Kirk made his rounds on Chicago talk radio. As a teenager he would put on a sharp suit and sit across from Amy Jacobson on her morning drive show.  She thought he was a charming kid. The Left thought he was a ticking time bomb for’ their propaganda monopoly. And they were right.

His social media reach blew past the old TV networks. Young people, the very demographic Democrats thought they owned, were tuning out their lies and tuning in to Kirk. That terrified them. Soon he was shaking hands with the biggest players in conservative politics, including President Donald Trump.

And in the middle of this meteoric rise, he paused only long enough to marry a beauty queen and start a family. God forbid a conservative leader also be a devoted husband and father. To the Left, that was a bigger crime than anything on the books.

So they did what they always do when they cannot win a debate. They set their media attack dogs loose and painted a target on his back. He was young, charismatic, and unstoppable, which meant he was also dangerous. Their only path to power was through his destruction.

Now Kirk is dead. You think that is coincidence? Please. When the killer is finally unmasked, we will find another Deep State errand boy, groomed and deployed to do the dirty work they could not do out in the open. Odds are he shadowed Kirk from event to event, waiting for the perfect moment to silence him forever.

But here is the final grenade. They thought they had erased him. Instead, they turned him into a martyr. Kirk’s blood is now on their hands, and it stains deeper than they can scrub.

Twice in just days, the Left has lost ground because of conscious shocking murder. The 23-year-old Ukrainian girl butchered on the light rail car in Charlotte, and now Charlie Kirk. Their names are now written in a ledger of victims that proves one thing. The people preaching tolerance are the first to pick up the knife when their power is threatened.
