PBS and NPR Are an Un-American Relic of Government Propaganda

Let’s be clear: this isn’t a gripe about all the content on PBS. They’ve had their moments—Sesame Street taught kids letters and numbers, and they’ve aired some quality arts programming over the years. But that doesn’t excuse the core issue: PBS and NPR are state-sponsored media—plain and simple. And in a free nation, that’s not just inappropriate—it’s dangerous. In every banana republic and authoritarian regime, the media is a mouthpiece for the state. Why are we, in the United States of America, still using taxpayer dollars to fund outlets like NPR—a network that’s become a reliable echo chamber for left-wing ideology? If the political Left loves NPR so much, they can pay for it themselves. There’s no reason everyday Americans—many of whom reject the network’s biased narratives—should be forced to bankroll it.
