They’ve had their moments—Sesame Street taught kids letters and numbers, and they’ve aired some quality arts programming over the years. But that doesn’t excuse the core issue: PBS and NPR are state-sponsored media—plain and simple. And in a free nation, that’s not just inappropriate—it’s dangerous. In every banana republic and authoritarian regime, the media is a mouthpiece for the state. Why are we, in the United States of America, still using taxpayer dollars to fund outlets like NPR—a network that’s become a reliable echo chamber for left-wing ideology?
