Disgraced LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman Dead at 74

Mark Fuhrman, the disgraced LAPD detective who may have done more damage to the O.J. Simpson murder prosecution than the defense team could have dreamed of doing on its best day, has died at 74 from an advanced form of throat cancer. Apparently, he refused treatment and passed away. During the Simpson trial, Fuhrman was asked whether he had ever used the N-word when describing Black people. He denied it under oath. That was a bold move, in the same way jumping into a wood chipper is bold. A Marine Corps recruiter in Arizona had a recording that proved Fuhrman had lied. He claimed that he found the infamous bloody glove on Simpson’s property while Simpson was in Chicago. From there, speculation exploded that Fuhrman had planted the glove, conveniently manufacturing probable cause and helping drag the case into the legal swamp where it drowned. The tragic comedy is that Fuhrman could have survived the question by telling the truth. He could have said, “I am embarrassed to admit that d...

Yes Tina, We Loved You

Küsnacht, Switzerland—Tina Turner was born under humble beginnings in Tennessee. She crafted her talent like so many others in a church choir.   Her talent led her to a platonic relationship with singer and performer, Ike Turner.   Ike Turner has his own hits and success.  He immediately recognized Tina’s talent and passed on whatever he could to her about the music, business. Before long, in the 1970s, they got married but unfortunately they fell into a stretch of cruelty and domestic violence that forced an end to that marriage. Tina, however came back, as a magnificent Phoenix rising from the ashes with incredible new material, poise and confidence. Tina soon turned out hit after hit.  Eventually the USA lost its luster to Tina with the change in politics and loss freedoms.  Tina soon learned to speak German proficiently and she sought and earned citizenship in Switzerland. That enabled the ex-patriot to leave the plantation. Thankfully her mus...

Phillip Seymour Hoffman, We Hardly Knew You!

New York, NY —Becoming a successful actor is incredibly difficult for most even if they have talent. Just getting a decent manager and or agent is a major task.  An actor without an agent is unemployed. Aside from my investigative and media work I'm an actor.  I did my best work in  community  theater.  I’ve had a SAG-AFTRA membership card since 1997.  I did a few  forgettable TV spots and  films before a serious hearing loss problem sidelined me.   I have great hearing aids now but my age is not helping me to get motivated again.   46 year-old Phillip Seymour Hoffman made to the RED Oscar Carpet winning as Best Actor for his role in Capote.  His career was on fire!   Hoffman was also successful producer and director.  He was currently filming for the Hunger Games franchise.  Hoffman confessed addiction problems and did a stint in rehab.  His premature death seems to indicate this was a...
