Lindsay Lohan Nixes Linda Lovelace Film

Hollywood, CA— When I heard Lindsay Lohan was set to play the late porn star, Linda Lovelace , I saw this as a career ender. That’s a role that should be played by a real porn star without a gag reflex and nothing to lose. This was a terrible role for Lohan. The other story is the production company was unable to find insurance to cover this troubled actress. getting out of that film was a gift for Lohan. Now we can see what unknown actress will become world famous for her ability swallow monster man meat. Lohan is both pretty and a talented actress. She was raised in a dysfunctional family and advised by both solid entertainment industry professionals and some real trolls. Lohan was a victim of her own early success and wealth. Lohan came out the successful Disney machine. Another, alumni of Disney is my dear friend, and Golden Globe winner Ann Jillian . Ann has express deep sorrow for Lohan difficulties as have I. I think discarding this woman at her age is pre-mature. Ann wants...

Memories of one Chicago Police 023 District Sergeant

Chicago, IL —One of the most important landmarks in Chicago is the old Town Hall, 023 District station . It should be restored and turned into a museum or at least a watering hole for off-duty coppers. I never worked that district but would have loved the assignment for sure. One veteran of this building is my pal, Andy Murcia . I met Murcia long ago as we were waiting for our cases to be called in the old Branch 64 courtroom of Judge Lawrence I. Genison . This was the last stop misdemeanor court for those defendants demanding jury trials. Nobody wanted jury trials just a better break before this very soft judge. Andy had just made sergeant at a time when few white males could be promoted do to never-ending litigation in the federal District Court. Andy had a great part-time security gig at the Ambassador East Hotel on the gold Coast. One night he happened upon a terrific looking lady that changed to good sergeant’s life forever. That lady was none other than, Golden Globe and Emmy ...

Ann Jillian Will Rock Spokane April 15

Click on Picture to enlarge it. Spokane, WA —Okay I’m plugging my dear friend Ann Jillian’s show at the Northern Quest casino here. Trust me this is no chore, Spokane is in for a treat. I know Ann through and her husband a former Chicago police sergeant from 023, Andy Murcia . Andy met and soon married Ann when he met her while working his part time security gig at the Ambassador East Hotel . Andy saw this little hottie all dolled up and thought she was a hooker. Instead of getting solicited for some kinky and expensive fun, the lucky copper was invited to see her show which was running in town. Understandably the good sergeant was hooked but in a way he never expected! Andy soon took a leave of absence from the department and headed off to deal with Ann’s career that included Emmy Award nominations and the coveted Golden Globe. Ann was also a popular Atlantic City headliner. Rain fell on this young couple in the form of Ann being diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a horrible e...

Twilight Zone Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary

Los Angeles, CA -There was once a little guy of Five-feet-four with a slight build. He answered the call of duty during World War Two where he was seriously wounded and earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. This tenacious little man made a big impact during his time on this earth. This man was a writer breaking ground in the new media of television entertainment. His writing covered a lot of ground but his flashback nightmares of the war gave him ideas for his most memorable and wonderful TV series, Twilight Zone . Twilight Zone first came to our television sets 50 years ago in October of 1959. The Twilight Zone treatment and a few of its early 20 minute scripts sat idle and grew hair for 11 years until some CBS suit took a gamble on this strange show and gave it a green light. The series ran for five years and featured some wonderful actors including my dear friend, actress Ann Jillian who at age 13 starred in an episode called, The Mute. Steven Spielberg made his film trilogy...
