Showing posts with the label Lee Harvey Oswald

I now firmly believe that JFK’s assassination was in fact, a successful coup d’état.

Dallas, TX — Call me a conspiracy theorist if you will, but I have finally accepted the notion that our own intelligence community killed JFK . The single most important reason I was convinced Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone involved the rifle he allegedly used.  The bolt action, Italian 6.5×52mm Carcano Model 91/38 Rifle was a total piece of crap.  It was clear to me that any reasonably financed group would never rely on that rifle for such an important task.   Oswald was seemingly living in a state of poverty and bought the cheapest rifle he could find in the Klein’s Sporting Goods , mail order advertisement.   Had he the money, Oswald could have spent a little more for a far superior rifle that he was familiar with as a Marine, the venerable M-1 Garand semi-automatic battle rifle.  Oswald seemed to be an easily manipulated fellow who effortlessly traveled to and from the Soviet Union.  Was he really a Castro sympathizer?   This now...

Why I’m convinced Oswald Acted Alone When He Assassinated JFK.

Oswald's crappy 6.5 Italian Carcano rifle Dallas, TX — Lee Harvey Oswald was a former Marine.    He was trained on the eight round semi-automatic M-1 Garand rifle.   In 1963 he military was dumping those fine rifles on the surplus market when they switched to the 20 round M-14 rifle. Klien’s Sporting Goods in Chicago was selling both the far superior M-1 Garand and the crappy 6.5 Carcano rifle that Oswald bought and used on Kennedy.   Of course Kline’s sold many other rifles by mail order back then.   Oswald selected the really cheap Carcano rifle.   He also bought a cheap 4X scope.   Had there been any kind of conspiracy Oswald would have purchased a far superior rifle like the M-1 Garand he was trained to use.   Certainly had others been involved a better rifle would have been chosen. The distance between Kennedy and the sixth floor window was just  81 meters .   Kennedy’s limo was traveling in a straight line away from ...

Kennedy Assassination, Where were you? My Reflections of a Dark Day…

Dallas, TX —It was 50 years ago today when a somewhat trusting U.S. president rode his last motorcade in an open top limousine.  We all think we know what happened.  However it seems the only thing we agree on is that a young president and war hero John F.  Kennedy was shot to death.  Had that happened today with our present technology there would have been thousands of revealing and stunning camera images and videos.  Abraham Zupruder had his new Bell & Howell 8 MM film camera with color film and captured the somewhat grainy movie film.  Had he a modern consumer HD digital video camera the images would have been more revealing and much more difficult to watch.  That also would have answered many more questions for investigators.  Those of us that were alive remember exactly where we were that day and how we learned about that “crime of the century.” For me that day was ordinary.  I removed my cased Springfield .22 ri...

It Looks Like I Made the Supermarket Tabloids Yet again!

Dallas, TX —On November 22, 1963 I was not on that grassy knoll with a firearm!  That’s my story and I’m stickin' to it!  Now that I got that out of the way you need to know that the Globe regarding issues with the late Lee Harvey Oswald interrogated me.  I gave them some answers.     Globe Magazine article Kennedy 1.pdf    Globe Magazine Kennedy 2.pdf
