CRIMEFILE NEWS COVERS THE 2015 LAS VEGAS SHOT SHOW!

Las Vegas, NV —I’ve been to every SHOT Show since its inception decades ago.   This is the largest Gun Show in the world and here every serious firearm or accessory maker exhibits their wares. The show is not open to the public and media credentials are only handed out after careful vetting.   Licensed firearm dealers, manufacturers, or other industry related professionals are invited to look over miles of exhibits.   Products are not sold at the show but qualified licensed dealers   make their orders stocking their stores for the next year at this show. CRIMEFILE NEWS sponsored by Eagle Grips with the assistance of guest hostess, Ariel Vitalia interviewed some select exhibitors.   Those interviews are below. Let me apologize in advance for the 20 second Eagle Grips commercial before each interview.   I think you get the message only seeing that ad once!   I must however after my 40 year association say that Eagle Grips are the industry’...

Las Vegas Mutant Cop Killers and a Few Facebook Favorite Photos

Las Vegas, NV —This is very early information and it does not contain their criminal history or mental health information. of two maniacs that decided to murder two unsuspecting cops eating lunch her on a quiet Sunday.  There will be more to come.  Apparently Jared and Amanda Woodruff Miller began their own revolution yesterday by ambushing and murdering the two young cops, Igor Solodo , 41 and Alyn Beck , 31 as they were both having lunch at CiCi’s Pizzeria .    After killing the cops they quickly stripped them of their guns, ammunition, body armor and police badges.  The announced that the revolution had begun and fled to a nearby WalMart. The story from there becomes confusing.  A yet to be identified woman was murdered at the WalMart as the two maniacs shot up this big box store.  People fled.  There is a report that a yet to be identified licensed concealed weapon holder engaged the two in gun...

You better think of a good teaser hook to make people watch your video!

Los Angeles, CA —As a blogger and multimedia journalist I occasionally put up videos here on Crimefile News. Currently time and lack of funding precludes me from putting up more video.   Getting people to watch your video no matter how good it is challenging.   You need to tease people with hot button words we’ve all seen.   “You better watch this video before the censors take it down!”   “Watch Ms. X destroy so and so in this video!”   “Watch Mr. X meltdown under tense questioning!”    “This video will make you break out the tissues!”    Frankly these are getting very old.   They’ve been used and abused and I refuse to fall for them anymore. The truth is that Internet viewers are incredibly impatient and loading videos for some can be a slow process.   When you add in that many videos turn out to be a disappointment that don't deliver on the promised hype you better be creative rather than deceptive. Putting i...

A Thirteen Minute Peek at the 2014 Las Vegas SHOT Show

Las Vegas, NV —Firearms, and accessory manufacturers, along with law enforcement and hunting related exhibitors filled the Sands Convention Center last week. Some 67,000 people attended and Sin City got a needed financial boost.   Local businesses benefit along with the tax coffers. What’s so amazing is that cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC will never get that financial benefit of this or the NRA Annual Meeting, Convention and Exhibit.   If we ever came to these cites we’d all wind up wearing handcuffs and watch our property confiscated.   With all the guns and gun toting attendees there are never accidents or any kind of violence in the cities we visit.   The crime rate goes down because the local thugs all know they are in for a serious challenge if they try and victimize these convention visitors.  More guns never brings more crime.  The SHOT Show is huge.   Covering the show as a full time multimedia journ...

The 2014 SHOT Show in Las Vegas

Paul Huebl at the 2014 Shot Show Las Vegas, NV- -some 67.000 people came to Sin City from every corner of the globe to celebrate firearms.  Exhibitors and firearms trade professionals came to town. Most everyone was armed however there were no murders or accidents involving people associated with this event.  I can be found hanging out with the fine folks at Eagle Grips and hope for a moment to go out and shoot and edit some video. Rocker and gun rights advocate Ted Nugent has a little fun with his long time friend Raj Singh, President of Eagle Grips. You can see that below.  I have a lot of video to edit and will do so as time permits.

Take a Short Ride with Carice van Houten in Las Vegas!

Las Vegas, NV -While attending this years SHOT Show I took my inexpensive Panasonic Lumix digital camera and shot some video out the window.  I added a little music courtesy of my favorite actress Carice van Houten for the mood. Trust me she will put you in the mood! 100 Years From Today is an old song from the 1930’s that was used in the great Paul Verhoeven film, Black Book .  Van Houten is the undisputed star of that great 2006 movie based on World War Two reality.
