Chicago, IL--Im close to a Sikh family for well over 40 years. The patriarch, Harbans Singh founded Eagle Grips. That company makes incredible handgun grips out of excotic materials . Eagle Grips have graced magazine covers and their designs are the best anywhere.
Harbans retired a while back and now the CEO is my pal Raj Singh. Raj likes motorcycles and has a small collection along with his showpiece is a Harley Davidson. While I was there I shot some GoPro Video of Raj including aerial via a Phantom 2 quadcopter.
Yes, I'm have too much fun with the quadcopter…

Raj attended American schools and despite his East Indian heritage and is 100% American. As a little boy, his Sikh religion forbade his cutting his hair and until he reached high school he was required to wear a white cloth in his hair that appeared by our standards somewhat feminine. Needless to say that made him a target of class bullies. Raj quickly learned how to effectively defend himself after some nasty victimization. When Raj became “of age” he had earned the right to wear a turban.
Raj loves sports, motorcycles along with knives, swords and guns. He has a collection of military items associated with various international wars. You also need to know that Sikhs have a rich and noble military history that place them on the right side of every conflict since their existence for nearly 600 years.
Raj and his father both have a gift of charisma that helped the family business, Eagle Grips to become an industry leader. Raj has been exhibiting his products at gun shows across America since he was a child. Raj and his father have fit right into the thick of gun rights lovers from the rednecks to military and police customer base.
If you attend the annual SHOT Show or NRA Conventions you can meet Raj at the Eagle Grips booth. I’m proud to tell you that Raj is a very close friend of mine.
