Four Dead, Two Critically Wounded In Valley Village Restaurant Shooting

Valley Village, CA—In a Mediterranean restaurant called the Hot Spot Café, six men were gunned down around 5:00 PM Saturday. LAPD officers from the North Hollywood Division are investigating and so far not offered a motive for the carnage. Rumors are circulating that this was a dispute between rival Armenian gangs.

Four of the men have died from their wounds and the other two are in critical condition at this hour. Police are looking for a heavyset white or Armenian man in his 30s who reportedly fled in an automobile.

There will be a lot more to this story and I will post it as it develops.

One hot summer night in 1994 Tempe and Mesa Arizona police were involved in a pursuit with this suspect who ran into a stranger’s apartment to hide after being shot TWICE in the chest.
