I can’t imagine why this woman with zero law enforcement or military experience has been given the job to protect our homeland. Napolitano is a run of the mill lawyer and former US attorney whose best qualification is being a Democratic politician.
If government agents don’t like the laws they must wait until they are changed by Congress or struck down by the courts before they can ignore them.
Any law enforcement officer that refuses to adhere to the oath of office they took upon appointment should be removed and is this case of actual obstruction should be charged with a crime.

Hmmm. Normally I would agree with this, but just thinking about one of your previous posts concerning the war on drugs makes me think that if I were still on the job as a police officer, I would not arrest citizens for simple possession of marijuana. In that instance, you would be recommending that I be charged with a crime. I think that unjust laws should not be enforced, especially ones that the public doesn't want. Same goes for the Daley gun ban in Chicago. I wouldn't arrest someone for UUW if they were otherwise law abiding citizens. Now in the homeland security department, I agree that someone should be leading that department who has a law enforcement or military background and who is aware of the serious threat to our security from our porous borders. I'll never understand why so many lawyers are appointed to high level positions. Lawyers are to blame for half of what's wrong with this country, if not more (in my opinion).
