More Americans per year are killed by cigarettes, booze and bacon than firearms. It's the gun deaths get the highest possible visibility and redundant news reporting.

In recent time the truth about guns and the failure of gun bans to even slow down violence is starting to see light.

I've never been able to figure out how anyone thinks gun control can stop crime. Its just that liberal feel good legislation. If you want crime to go down. Teach every law abiding citizen in this country how to properly use a firearm. The crooks will always have guns no matter what the laws. Taking them away from the crooks victims makes such little sense it boggles the mind. Maybe we could make it illegal to drink and drive. That would probably cut out alcohol related deaths completely...RIGHT!!
Common sense people. Thats all it is. If you really think about it for a minute you might just get it. Guns really dont kill people. But I'm beginning to believe some will just never be able to figure that out.
