Provocation? Burning The Koran should be a Non-Event

Gainesville, FL-The pastor of a 50 member church wants to exercise his First Amendment right and publicly burn a copy of the Muslim Holy Book. This silly stunt has garnered world-wide publicity and the much sought after rebuke of Barack Obama. I strongly suspect contributions to this insignificant church are skyrocketing as a result.

Muslims already are prosecuting a despicable holy war against America and I fail to see how this book-burning can possibly make things worse. The same violent and ignorant Muslim zealots will continue to use every murderous tool they have against Americans at every opportunity.

This is a classic case of that child’s saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.” The pastor need not have a real copy of the Koran, just a paste-up look-alike for news cameras in order to inflame crazy Muslims.

I guess nobody is smart enough to defuse this public relations bomb. The media could simply choose not cover the burning or the threats to do so. I guess that was far too simple.

Burning a book is not violence nor is it criminal. Anyone committing violence against any American exercising his absolute Constitutional right is a criminal.

Any American public official especially Barack Obama that would even respond to that pastor’s announcement to burn the Koran is deliberately throwing gasoline on to the fire. Obama has raised the importance of a small-time Christian preacher to limitless new heights and wealth.

While I agree that this is a 1st amendment issue, just because someone can do something doesn't make it right. Same goes for the proposed 9/11 mosque. They have the right to build it, but it isn't the right thing to do. This publicity hungry pastor is going to get some GI's killed in Afghanistan or Iraq just to get his face on TV. We all know that the Muslims will kill people for any reason, even for drawing a cartoon. But that is no reason to incite someone just because you want your 15 minutes of fame. He's an idiot.

Somebody's been reading your blog Paul! Fox news and the AP are not covering the event now.

This is just another example of how the bias liberal media loves to paint Christens as bigoted ignorant and dangerous people. You’re totally right, this is a non-issue. If this man had burned that book in front of his 50-member flock it would be what it is, an insignificant act. We are all aware of the media’s ability to ignore real news, take the Tea Party march on Washington DC last Sept. 12th as an example. 1.5 million people rallied against our President and his socialist policies and race bating politics and the event was hardly mentioned. So why not ignore this foolishness ? Instead they have blown it insanely out of proportion.

If the liberal media reported every time an American flag was burned in an Islamic country or every time a Muslim danced in the street to celebrate the destruction of the World Trade Center every newspaper would probably be as thick as a phone book everyday.

Is there any wonder why, with the propaganda disguised as news the liberal media spews out at us that newspapers all over the country and magazines like Time and Newsweek are bankrupt ? The liberal media has as much creditability with the people of our country as the old Soviet newspaper and propaganda rag Pravda had.

A 40 Caliber Nightmare Is Caught On Tape.

So you’re confident that that .40 caliber S&W service round will keep you safe. Maybe you’ll have second thoughts after you see this video. One hot summer night in 1994 Tempe and Mesa Arizona police were involved in a pursuit with this suspect who ran into a stranger’s apartment to hide after being shot TWICE in the chest. He was shirtless and you can see the blood pumping out of those two wounds. What’s really frightening is just how agile this fellow is as he struts to the ambulance. If he was not handcuffed and had a knife or a gun, ask yourself if he could still hurt you, your partner or a hostage? If your jurisdiction demands that officers carry either the 9MM or the .40 Caliber S&W it’s time to show this video to your bosses and lobby to have the .45 ACP round authorized. The switch may well reduce the screaming by self-appointed community activists about how many rounds police had to use on a suspect. The really talented and courageous video journalist, Karen Ke...

America Will See Its Worst Race Riot Yet This Summer

Star Prosecution Witness, Rachel Jeantel Sanford, FL —Yes, the George Zimmerman trial here has thousands of African-Americans getting ready for some serious bloodletting. I don’t want to make idle and dire predictions but this nation has never been so divided and racially sensitive.  Our African-American President took sides on this case at the very beginning.  That ratified a George Zimmerman guilty verdict in the minds of millions. There’s just one little problem, and that is the murder case should have never been filed.  It was filed purely for political reasons despite the fact that it was a simple justifiable homicide.  Zimmerman was on the block watch lookout program and followed a suspicious Trayvon Martin after he used an improper entrance to a gated community.  Zimmerman was acting as the eyes and ears of the Sanford Police Department. Martin did not like being followed and knew that he could easily beat up the out-of-shape...

The origin of the feature film, COME FRIDAY…

CLick On the pictures to see full size versions. Long ago there was a young lady I had the hots for in a big way (Yes, I know that hots is not a word). She was pretty, incredibly bright, and had some real elegance about her. She had a love for children and basic kindness that you don’t often see in someone her age. I met her parents and could understand she came from a much more stable home than mine. I was raised by a single, welfare mom and suddenly found myself way out-classed. For whatever reasons things did not workout they way I had hoped. Sadly for me, we went on our separate ways. From time to time I’d run into this lady in various places where our job had taken us. Whenever this happened my heart would skip a beat or two. I left my hometown Chicago, and moved to Arizona where I founded my detective agency. As a private eye and soon a TV news producer too, my career took me to the highest profile criminal events in Arizona and throughout the country. There’s no question that ...
