Connie Francis dead at 87. Her legacy was tarnished by a cruel and vicious criminal.

With a heavy heart, I share the passing of Connie Francis, gone at 87. She was more than just a singer, she was a voice that defined a generation, giving us timeless hits filled with love, longing, and hope. But at just 36 years old, Connie’s life took a devastating turn. A single, traumatic moment shattered the world she knew and forever changed the woman behind the music. Yet through pain and darkness, she showed strength, resilience, and an unbreakable spirit. Later in the early 1980s Connie Francis was on the mend and performing.  She came to Arizona and hired a friend of mine, Private Investigator Scott Bressette to be her bodyguard.  He reported to me that she was very paranoid and carried a 1911 .45 caliber pistol everywhere she went.  Her carry permit?  For her it was simply the second amendment.
