Berlin, Germany—It was last November that I was fortunately involved with a documentary film that brought me to this wonderful city.
When I was drafted into the Army I somehow was sent to Germany instead of Viet Nam. For me it was pillow fights with delightful frauleins instead of firefights with Charlie Cong. I must say I fought very bravely.
I was lucky enough to be there for the celebration of the end of tyranny and that dreaded wall.
My dear friend Andrea, better known by me as, The Strudel was my beautiful tour guide.

Andrea is a terrific ambassador for Germany. She bring in tourists in droves with her own natural star power.
As for Germany it’s as nice a place as any to live on earth right now. The winters are a little brutal but that makes the summers there so much more exciting.
Yes, I speak German but not nearly as well as I did when I was in the Army living there so long ago. But I know it’s all rapidly coming back to me when I speak with Andrea and her wonderful family members.
The gun laws suck but the crime rate is not crazy like in the UK. There are lots of WW2 guns hidden by collectors here.
Germans love, music, dancing, and partying.
I have The Strudel featured in lots of videos both in Berlin and Los Angeles. She has that star quality for sure!
