Travis Munroe Townsend Is A Patriot, Not A Criminal!

Glendale, AZ—Arizonans are taxed to death. Many can barely afford to keep a roof over their heads, feed their families and must go without health insurance.

Despite this Arizona’s never ending supply of government bureaucrats have plush officers, take home vehicles and too many perks to mention. Arizona’s government grows faster than cancer. It’s become a monster that feeds on the backs of everyone and there is no control in sight.

Arizona has installed new speed cameras on Arizona highways that spit out well over 40,000 tickets in just two months of operation. Does Arizona have a huge accident problem that led to this draconian enforcement? No, but they have a revenue crisis because of over-spending and runaway government growth.

In the spirit that made this country, a Glendale man is accused of taking a pickaxe to a photo enforcement camera. Travis Munroe Townsend, 26, was charged with criminal damage, interference with a traffic-control device and criminal trespass.

The felony charges may well give Townsend grief for the rest of his life as the young man looks for employment opportunities. Hard hit by the cost of living in Arizona, is Townsend himself who works as a subsitute teacher. Townsend is an American patriot not an outlaw.

If ever there was a case for jury nullification and a Not Guilty verdict this is the one. Townsend’s “crime” is no more or less than that of those Americans that dumped tea into Boston Harbor so long ago. We need thousands more motivated freedom loving citizens just like Townsend to say no to runaway government.

Mumbai, India—Police have some impressive rifles like the FN FAL, in .308. There are some but but individual officers are generally unarmed sharing weapons with others at best.

Now The Indian Times broke a major scandal, that officers involved in the Mumbai attack defense had not fired their weapons in 10 years! It’s now obvious why a handful terrorists were able commit so much carnage and property destruction.

MUMBAI: The state constabulary was grossly unprepared to deal with the worst-ever terror attacks on the metropolis because of an acute shortage of weapons and ammunition.

Official records show that for a force of well over 1.8 lakh, the home department procured a meagre 2,221 weapons — 577 for Mumbai, and 1,644 for the rest of Maharashtra.

‘‘Under the centrally sponsored modernisation programme, we purchased almost all types of weapons, but for a state like Maharashtra, the number of weapons was grossly inadequate ,’’ a senior official told TOI on Monday.

In the absence of a firing range and of ammunition for practice, members of the law enforcement agencies have not opened fire in the last ten years. ‘‘I’ve been in the police force for a long time, but I had no occasion to open fire for practice,’’ a senior inspector of police said.

As per the police manual, officials ranking from constable to assistant inspector get rifles with 30 rounds each, and those with the rank of police sub-inspector and above get revolvers, also with 30 rounds each.

Jawans with the State Reserve Police Force are given SLRs or self-loading rifles. In addition, AK-47 rifles have been given to officials posted in areas where there is Naxal activity, while officials on VIP security duty are armed with either revolvers or carbines.

The manual also prescribes mandatory training for all officials, especially shooting practice at the firing range. According to a senior IPS official, the norms prescribed in the manual now exist only on paper because of the acute shortage of ammunition for practice and the non-availability of a firing range.

As per the rules, every district should have a firing range exclusively for the police. But official records indicate that more than half the state’s districts have no independent firing range.

‘‘We have constables who have not opened fire even for practice ever since their recruitment,’’ the official said.

Crimefile’s Exposé Of TSA Pilots Booby-trap Holster Finally Got Results!

Washington, DC—It has been nearly I year ago when I exposed some “classified’ information on the dangerous conditions the TSA created with a bizarre holster requirement. The TSA mandated that pilots participating in the Federal Flight Deck Officers carry their loaded service pistols in a holster with a padlock across the trigger.

The holster violated both safety rules and common sense. The locking holster turned the weapon into a deadly booby-trap causing the gun to be unintentionally fired.

It was less than four months later when US Airways Captain James Langenhahn’s pistol discharged while he was stowing it away as his flight ended. I put together a video to show precisely how the accident happened and placed it on YouTube and other video sharing sites. The videos received a half million hits.

CNN and other news outlets covered the story using my demonstration of the involved equipment. Langenhahn was removed from the FFDO program and fired. I think it’s clear that the TSA created the dangerous conditions and Langenhahn should be cleared, reinstated and given back pay along with his legal fees.

Now investigators from the Office of Inspector General has released their report to Congress recognizing the danger and recommended finding an alternative to the current method to insure safety.

Julia Hudson Won’t Let Go Of William Balfour--What’s That All About?

Chicago, IL—There is so much more to the Hudson Family murders that makes no sense whatsoever. Julia Hudson did not dump William Balfour as a “friend” on her My Space page and when that information was published in the media she simply made her page private.

More importantly, as of today Julia Hudson has not bothered to file for divorce from the ex-convict that is now in custody for killing her mother, son and brother. Call that what you will, but it is sick.

I have heard from sources close to the investigation all along that Julia Hudson has not been totally candid with detectives investigating this case.

Julia Hudson stood to make a financial windfall with the death of her entire family but for her talented sister Jennifer Hudson who has enjoyed newfound wealth. I must say something really smells here.

Murder Complaints and Arrest Report on William Balfour

Chicago, IL, Criminal Court 2600 S. California--I’ve obtained copies of the criminal complaints for three counts of Murder and one count of Home Invasion against William "Flex" Balfour along with the arrest report.

Balfour was ordered held without bond on these charges and still has a non-bondable parole violation hold outstanding. He has been remanded to the coustody of the Cook County Jail pending further proceedings.

William Balfour’s Mother Unleashed!

Chicago, IL—Hudson family murder suspect William Balfour's mother, Michelle Balfour is quite agitated by her son’s arrest for the brutal killings of three members of Oscar winning actress and American Idol Jennifer Hudson’s family.

Balfour has been doing life in prison on the installment plan for a host of despicable and violent crimes. Perhaps if this loving mother had raised her child with a little more supervision he would be practicing medicine instead of costing the taxpayers millions for his legal fees, room and board behind bars.

I can’t help but believe the more Mama opens her moth the more damaging information she provides police investigators. This lady is right out of Hollywood’s Central Casting…

Roman Polanski Files Motion To Dismiss Three Decade Old Criminal Case

Los Angeles—The Associated Press is reporting that lawyers for Academy Award winning film director, Holocaust survivor and fugitive Roman Polanski have filed a motion in the Superior Court seeking to have the 30 year-old charges dismissed.

The motion alleges new facts uncovered by a recent documentary film revealed prosecutorial and judicial misconduct. The HBO documentary, Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired was released and reviewd earlier on this blog.

Polanski was prosecuted for consensual sexual relations with Samantha Geimer, then 13 years-old after a romp in actor Jack Nicholson’s hot tub.

Polanski had an incredibly difficult life where Nazi’s murdered his parents and the Manson Gang murdered his beautiful, young pregnant wife, Sharon Tate. Polanski served some prison time but after the late judge, Laurence Rrittenbrand reneged on a plea agreement Polanski fled to France.

Polanski has been punished enough, let him return in peace.

Three Counts of Murder, One Count of Home Invasion for William Balfour

Chicago, IL—That was the official word from the Chicago Police Department in connection with the October 24, triple murder of family members of, singer and actress, Jennifer Hudson.

Balfour is set to attend a bail hearing tomorrow afternoon. He already has a lawyer at least for limited purposes of bail issues. He may wind up with another lawyer for the pending charges.

Deputy superintendent Steve Peterson was very tight lipped about the evidence and the role snitches played in the investigation. He did say Balfour had not confessed.

Peterson said that they are not ruling out other people being involved with the crime. Police believe that the motive was related to domestic matters between Balfour and his estranged wife.

Police say recovered physical evidence recovered is still being examined at the state crime lab.

The ball is now in the hands of the Cook County State’s Attorney. They may elect to put their case on at a future public, preliminary hearing or before a secret Grand Jury panel.

This case will be in the court for between one and three years until a jury will decide Balfour’s fate as he is housed in the Cook County Jail.

Based on information I have there are issues with Julia Hudson and various witnesses still under investigation.

Pacific Palisades, A Burglars Paradise…

Los Angeles, CA. --Between Santa Monica and Malibu sits the community I consider the best in this region. So do a large amount of wealthy celebrities like Billy Crystal, Michael Mann, Suzanne Summers and Glen Close.

The LAPD has virtually abandoned this community of patrols because of its citizen’s stellar behavior. The crime here is limited to home invasions and burglaries. Our faltering economy will only make things worse.

Budget cuts and violence in other areas are threatening to leave this area even more under-policed. The burglar alarms can only summon police and an already intolerable police response time is aggravated even more.

The real answer for this community is secession from Los Angeles and creating their own police force. Why pay taxes to a city that does not provide adequate services. The problem is the votes for such a move come from the impoverished areas that love the huge amount of money that the city coffers get from these rich Westside folks.

Los Angeles can always be counted on to turn their backs on the Westside residents and their needs. This is a no-win situation.

The long term solution is armed private patrols. There is a huge problem with nearly all of the private patrol operators. They have low paid people with very little formal training who must be limited to observe and report duties and calling police in order to deal with burglars and such. What’s really needed in a no-nonsense well trained security force that both observes and arrests the predators.

Rather than contract with a large company that serves others they need some licensed retired cop to set up a program tailored for the needs of their local homeowners. Rather than calling 911 and getting put on hold, the residents call the cell phones of their own patrol officers who would all be mature and stable retired cops.

A system of inexpensive, real time web based cameras can be installed that could be observed by the patrol service and the homeowners from anywhere in the world should also be used. The camera installation must be carefully done with privacy considerations for all residents.

I’d limit the patrol officer’s responsibilities to the suppression of violence, robbery, burglary, theft and trespassing. I’d also want to cross-train the patrol officers as paramedics and keep first aid equipment and defibrillators in their patrol vehicles.

Another huge benefit is the residents and patrol officers will be well acquainted with each other. The patrol officers will know who does not belong on resident’s property.

The LAPD will continue to maintain police jurisdiction and follow-up on criminal activity discovered and reported by the private patrol officers.

Most of what police officers do during their shift has little to do with arresting, investigating. Officers usually help citizens will all kinds of needs. A well-oiled private security force could do wonders for the people left to self-help by uncaring government bureaucrats.

Plaxico Burress Needs Help From His Fellow Americans.

New, York, NY—It was an act of negligence to carry a Glock handgun without a holster. You see the Glock has a safety mechanism that is unreliable without a holster. As a result football star Plaxico Burress was injured when the gun slid down his pants leg and fired while he was in a night club.

New York where it happened and New Jersey where Burress lives pride themselves on their laws that violate the Constitutional rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. Today, Burress faces from 3 ½ to 15 years in prison for carrying a gun without a permit they would never issue to him in the first place. In addition Burress could lose his financially rewarding football career.

The Heller decision from the Supreme Court did not address the right to bear arms because the issue under review was about the narrow matter of handgun ban that prevented people from keeping a gun in their home. The court upheld the Second Amendment as an individual right to keep arms. Logic assumes if the issue in Heller involved bearing arms the court would have considered that constitutionally protected activity too.

I can only assume that Burress had no criminal history and had no intentions beyond carrying a handgun for simple self-protection. If that’s the case gun owners everywhere need to support this citizen from an egregious civil rights violation.

First Arrest made in Jennifer Hudson’s Family Slaughter, Others Expected.

Joliet, IL—Today Chicago police detectives from Area One, Violent Crimes paid a visit to Julia Hudson’s estranged husband, William "Flex" Balfour at the Stateville Correctional center where he was held on a parole violation. They served him with a warrant for triple murder and hauled him back to their officers.

A formal complaint for, three counts of First Degree Murder are pending preparation by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Felony Review Unit. Of course this all began October, 24, 2008 with the shooting deaths of deaths of Darnell Hudson Donerson, Jason Hudson, and Julian King.

Balfour will face a Cook County Circuit Court judge in the morning and that’s when they will appoint a lawyer to represent him. Balfour will most likely be held initially with no bail and there is that second DOC hold that will also be non-bondable. Balfour's new home will be the infamous Cook County Jail.

Let me say I’m surprised that they did not already impanel a Grand Jury and pick Balfour up on an Indictment Warrant. I suspect that Balfour may have agreed to talk and implicate others for a future Grand Jury proceeding. That would be consistent with information I've learned earlier from my sources in the Windy City.

We will wait and see. As the salacious details are revealed, I’m told Julia Hudson has some culpability in this case that will be revealed.

Update: Balfour has been appointed a lawyer already, Joshua Kutnick which means he is cooperating as a co-conspiritor snitch...

Why Can California Campus Cops Outgun Chicago Police?

Los Angeles, CA—Believe it or not California’s gun-hating politicians learned something from a tragedy. Two suicidal gunmen armed with exotic fully automatic weapons, body armor and lots of ammunition was discovered by an LAPD officer on their way into a Bank of America branch. That officer called for help and the rest is history.

In hindsight it would have been better to simply ignore the incident because the LAPD was no match for the robbers. The price paid in causalities was horrific before the carnage was over.

LAPD’s officers had only 9MM handguns and a few .12 gauge shotguns. They were defeated by the robber’s armor. Unlike Chicago where politicians completely ran the gun dealers out-of-town the LAPD officers sought and obtained high powered weapons from a gun store.

Chicago police could never cope with anything like what happened in North Hollywood. Mayor Richard Daley and police superintendent Jody “J-Fed” Weis both know the truth but have taken no steps to remedy the situation. . Other than their self purchased duty side arms Chicago police have nothing until the Hostage Barricade boys and girls arrive.

Every police agency in California has armed and trained their officers with M-4 carbines and shotguns. Rather than carry the firearms in car trunks they are available to the officers in vehicle gun racks.

The fine men and women working patrol duties at the UCLA Police Department are far more capable of dealing with a Mumbai, India style attack then Chicago cops.

New Dangers For Americans As The Possse Comitatus Act Is About To End

Washington, DC—Most Americans don’t have a clue what this is all about. Simply put the Possse Comitatus Act prevents the government from using the military for law enforcement purposes against Americans in their communities and homes. This vile government activity has been outlawed for 130 years, until now.

The Democratic controlled Congress plans to begin with 20,000 military troops set aside for various domestic enforcement events. Disasters, and terrorist attacks are at the top of their agenda. There is nothing to prevent the suspension of the Constitution and using the military to break into American homes to seize lawfully possessed firearms, cash, gold or valuables to redistribute to others.

Ignorance and bliss by America’s politicians will hale this terrible idea as something wonderful to keep our country strong. It is dangerous to our way of life, freedom and liberty.

We are about to begin a new chapter of political ideology with the election of Barack Obama as President. There are numerous danger signs everywhere that suggest the American Experiment is over with the change.

Whenever a country’s new leader is hailed as the Messiah is when government goes to Hell. All of the worst leaders in history like Adolph Hitler were given the messiah moniker. These political Messiahs always turn into the Antichrist. The Messiah label was always given to the world’s most dangerous cult leaders like Jim Jones.

Homeland Security may need a name change to, Homeland Oppression. We are about to begin a dark chapter in American history.

The Entire World Saw How India’s Gun Laws, Police Equipment And Training Facilitated The Mumbai Attack.

Mumbai, India—I have seen local police weapons during my trips there. The FNFAL battle rifles, Enfield bolt action rifles, Sten guns, revolvers and various 9MM semi-automatic pistols are in the hands of local police on a limited basis.

The average Indian cop carries nothing but a long stick but has arms close at hand in this low crime rate country. I’m not sure about the availability of ammunition for the heavier of these weapons.

The first hand reports of news picture editor, Sebastian D'Souza, from the Mumbai Mirror of how police cowered from two terrorists firing weapons at the Sivaji Terminal railway station suggested that those railroad cops were not trusted with ammunition.

Since when are terrorists more capable, better trained and equipped then any police agency? That seems to be the case in Mumbai. The blame lies directly with the India Parliament and their facilitation of the terrorists.

The Brits came in dominated and disarmed the entire nation during their rule. They created a dangerous mindset that continued long after they left over 60 years ago.

I have seen many shotguns in possession of people associated with money changers and banks. Civilian gun ownership exists but is way over-regulated and virtually outlawed for homeland security or meaningful self-defense.

India was and is a preferential target for terrorists because of their anti-gun rights philosophy. We just saw ten young men enter India’s financial capital with small arms and backpacks place the entire city of 19 million in a state of siege. The little thugs were unstoppable as they mowed down no less than 20 cops.

The Indian Parliament in New Delhi needs to re-think the entire issue of police training and equipment at the state and local level. They also need to bring gun liberty to Indian citizens so they too are a force for homeland security like they are in Switzerland.

This latest attack has sent a horribly clear message to every democracy that over-regulating firearms weakens any country and makes them attractive targets for similar deadly invasions.

Our own American politicians facilitated the carnage of 9/11 when they refused to keep all American pilots armed and trained. They further facilitated the huge property damage by disarming the off duty cops that fly as passengers.

The American mainstream media gave our government a total pass by ignoring the facts that allowed a handful of troublemakers to bring an entire nation to its knees.

Lessons Learned From Mumbai India Terrorist Attack…

What can we learn from criminal and terrorist attacks inside America’s Gun Free Zones? We learned that terrorist and dangerous criminals ignore gun prohibitions in places like malls, schools and hospitals.

We need a single Federal law that exempts any armed citizen who enters or remains in a so-called Gun Free Zone to combat anyone engaged in an unlawful deadly attack against others

An example would be a parent who resorted to justifiable use or threatened use of force to stop a dangerous attack on a child at a school. Another would be a person that used a gun to take on a sniper or other armed criminal inside some shopping mall. What purpose would prosecuting anyone but a real criminal serve?

I contend that Gun Free Zones are constitutionally impermissible anyway. But until the high court rules we have to deal with a little reality.

It would take a total miracle to pass something with any amount of common sense in the upcoming Leftist Congress.

Winona Ryder Has Some ‘splaining to do…

Madrid, Spain--Spanish cops are investigating the theft of $125,000.00 worth of jewelry loaned to the drug addicted, convicted thief and actress, Winona Ryder.

Ryder made headlines as she was taken away by an ambulance after a mysterious illness she contracted on the airplane earlier this month. Why does narcotic overdose come to my suspicious mind?

Ryder was loaned a Bulgari bracelet and ring, which she wore to a Marie Claire event. Reportedly there are inconsistencies with Ryder’s explanation of just how the cool jewels went hot.

Why do I think a drug screen test may help get to the bottom of this caper? Ryder’s past indiscretions got her yanked her off that A List and brought a lot of pain to people close to her.

For those who'd rather forget, Ryder got a run through the criminal justice wringer after she was popped for the possession of thousands of dollars worth of purloined clothing as she left Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills in 2001.

I’m pissed off because I recognized Ryder’s beauty and talent and thought there was no limit in her future. I was hoping to see a comeback for Ryder from Abyss like Robert Downey, Jr. made. Of course Downey is always just one slip up away from Hell like all addicts.

I hope my suspicions are wrong and Ryder has not taken yet another wrong desperate turn.

American Malls Hotels and Restaurants Are Great Terror Targets

Los Angeles, CA--We have just seen a disaster unfold in Mumbai, India where gunmen took over the most expensive and popular hotels in town. We don’t know where the death toll will end in this protracted terror event.

In America we have disarmed virtually all of the hotel security people long ago. The very people that know the facilities, guests and trusted employees have to run away and call 911. They are people with marginal security training and zero firearms experience.

Restaurants are the softest targets since security is nearly unheard of. It’s time for every soft target business that hosts crowds of people to rethink their internal security while they have a chance.

American malls are perfect terror targets since they never have armed security and host big crowds especially this time of year. Any small group of committed gunmen could turn a mall like L.A. Beverly Center to a killing field with a few guns and some gasoline. The police would be afraid to enter the malls during a terror event for fear of making matters worse.

The resistance to attack must begin with an armed trained security force stopping the progression of that kind of an attack. These are the golden moments when terrorists may turn and run rather than continue. The odds against success are greatly reduced for terrorists with real resistance.

The second line of defense, are the cops. The police don’t know the layout or anything about the thing the employees and the architectural secrets. The cops have to deal with the threats while blindfolded. They don’t know the bell captain from a suicidal gunman.

All the opportunities to stop these events are in the first moments. Later with no resistance the damage and death toll rises with every tick of the clock.

The only real answer is hiring well trained and experienced armed security people who are licensed for that kind of work.

The communications between police and even the best trained security department is non-existent. Police and security radios are never compatible.

There is a quick fix and that’s for every licensed security company to obtain a special police emergency channel that could be also used by police responding to these special soft target venues.

This kind of reform will never happen unless and until lots of American blood is spilled at these easy terror American targets.

We can expect unarmed minimum wage security people searching patrons at entrances airport style long before the make reforms. Any American business that thinks their customers will submit to the frisking like sheep need to be ready to file bankruptcy.

Of course terrorists would have a difficult time to stop their hysterical laughing as they force their way at gunpoint past the frisking stations.

Indian Police Gave their Lives To Protect Americans

Mumbai, India—The toll for deaths and injuries include too many cops and members of the military. Days after the siege ends we will be able to learn the numbers. They suffered while protecting Americans and others from suicide gunmen on a murder and kidnapping orgy.

I always take a little time on my India vacations to talk to those coppers I run into along the way. Most of them speak some English. They are some classy guys for sure. I’ve been fortunate to have never seen them deal with violence but have observed them in action with highway accidents, and some training exercises. India is a peaceful country.

Most of the local cops aren’t all that well regarded like some of the elite military units but the great personal sacrifices in Mumbai speak for themselves. These guys are heroes. For the dead I mourn and for the injured I wish them all a speedy recovery.

As for India, It’s still a great place to visit with so much to see and do. Don’t let this event stop you form from the incredible and beautiful Indian experience.
